Compliance
By submitting an application you are agreeing to comply with all Terms & Conditions
The layout of stalls in the Huskisson Community Centre is made to comply with Shoalhaven City Council Workplace Health & Safety regulations. Arts Muster’s permit to hold this event depends on compliance with these regulations.
Selection for the limited number of stalls in the venue is made through a considered process of review and planning of a market that best suits the layout of the venue. All applications are sincerely appreciated but Arts Muster’s decision is final in regard to both choice of stall holders + the allocation of stalls and does not provide feedback on declined applications.
Stall fees
Makers, Artists and Providores who are selected for Huskisson Artisans Market pay a stall holder fee based on the set-up requested in the application form:
For Makers and Artists
Standard stall $60 comprises 1 trestle table 180 x 76cm
Standard stall + Grid wall for hanging $75 comprises 1 trestle table 180 x 76cm + 1 x Grid wall 62 x 171cm for hanging. These are a limited number of stalls offering hanging space suitable for visual art, textiles, cloth, garments, decorative wall mounted objects. Hanging fixtures are supplied.
For Providores
Indoors $60 comprises 1 trestle table 180 x 76cm
Outdoors 3m x 3m marquee site $60. Fee is for site only. Vendors supply their own marquee and table.
Stall Conditions
- One stall only per applicant.
- Stall holders are not permitted to bring any additional floor standing items e.g. racks, easels, display stands, tables, trolleys, special chairs etc.
- Display equipment is strictly for use on top of the table only
- The under table area is to be used for storage
- Stall holders must provide appropriate table covering that reaches the floor to ensure any boxes etc. are hidden from view. We ask stall holders to present their wares in a professional manner.
- All rubbish to be removed.
- Arts Muster both sets up tables and chairs ready for stallholders, and puts them away at end of day.
Cancellations
- Stall holder fees are non-refundable.
- If you are unwell and unable to attend on the day of the market you can have someone else staff your stall but only with prior approval from Arts Muster.
Insurance
- Option 1: Your own insurance A copy of your certificate of currency must be uploaded with your application otherwise your application may be rejected or a $15 insurance fee will be added to the booking invoice you receive if your application is accepted.
- Option 2: $15 contribution for coverage under Arts Muster Pty Ltd insurance.
Payment facilities
Each stall holder is to provide their own payment facilities.
Bump in / Bump out
Times are to be strictly observed.
- Bump in 8am-10am to be ready for trading no later than 10am.
- There is no bump in prior to 8am.
- Trading ends at 3pm. Packing up is not to begin before 3pm.
- Bump out 3pm-5pm to be completed by 5pm.
- Stall holders must be out of the venue no later than 5pm
- You are required to be onsite for the full duration of the event.
Set up & Parking
In the interest of maximising visitors’ experience attending the market, we ask that all stall holders:
- Park close to the hall to unload goods, then move your vehicle and park elsewhere, away from the venue, before setting up your stall.
- Only set up your stall once you have moved your vehicle to allow other stallholders to park and unload without a long waiting period.
Hand made by you
- The goods for sale on your stall must be substantially made by you or designed by you for small batch production.
- Arts Muster expects the product creator/designer to be the seller. We are willing to consider a replacement person in the case of illness but you must seek prior approval.
Promotion
Any images and text you provide in your application may be used by Arts Muster for marketing and promotion purposes.
