Our workshops draw from local and international arts tutors and will be held in three adjacent locations in Huskisson, Jervis Bay.
1 Day Workshops
Japanese-inspired dyeing on fabric and paper with Samantha Tannous.
Achieve beautiful designs from folding, clamping, binding, stitching and manipulating fabrics and paper then dipping them into indigo vats.
Coil that string – Make a fun thing! With Fiona Hammond.
Have some fun making string out of recycled fabrics and yarns. This simple string-making technique could lead to all sorts of projects! Then you will use basic coiling techniques to create a small bowl, basket, pot, platter, or other quirky item.
Develop your imagination and enjoy some creative play with Akira Kamada.
Using recycled paper and cardboard you will create a number of small abstract sculptures to gift to friends or brighten up your own spaces.

Welcome to Country, Cultural Workshop and Walking Books 2 Day Workshop
Immerse yourself in a First Nations cultural workshop with Gadhungal Murring on Saturday morning. Then after lunch and on Sunday, transform your experiences into Walking Books with your tutor, Silvana Benacchio.

In this two-day hands-on workshop we will focus on simple but effective paper folding and stitching techniques to produce books that present work in new ways and also act as standalone works of art.
Explore the creative aspects of Gel plate and mono printing to produce unique artworks with Barbara Dawson.
Printmaking is a magical process – you will create many wonderful images using a gel plate and inexpensive acrylic paints. Start with simple prints and progress to multi-layered artworks using easy techniques.
Enter a world of imaginary animals drawn and constructed in three dimensions with Kathryn Orton.
Kathryn will spark your ideas and show you how to create your own paper menagerie, dreamed up from your imagination.
Make stunning neckpieces, individual brooches, unique earrings, buttons and headwear for race days/formal occasions with with Rae Woolnough.
In this workshop participants will explore a dozen different felting techniques to create various items that can be utilised to adorn the wearer. There are so many different techniques to explore for the complete novice or an experienced Felter.
